The Husband's Secret

This is the second book I have read by Liane Moriarty , and it’s safe to say that my love for her writing style is meant to be!

Immediately we are deeply invested into our protagonists' lives: Cecila, Tess and Rachel. This is a true testament to Moriarty's writing, asso many authors try to get you to care about their characters, but it takes half the book. With Moriarty, it is instant.

These women are so perfectly human; they are flawed and even downright unlikable at times. And then, the secrets start to come out.

Firstly, let's go ahead and say it out loud:

MEN ARE THE WORST.

Okay, now that we've got that out of the way, we are able to focus on how these three women are total #bossbabes and take care of business.

Tess, Cecilia and Rachel are picking up the pieces of their lives that someone else has shattered. But when life-changing secrets start to pour out, there is only so much a woman can take.

As these women navigate dangerous, intertwining waters, you are left gasping out loud and, personally, shouting "NO!" so loud I scared my dog. I cried real tears with these women, and felt their pain.

Liane Moriarty has absolutely done it again - I'm starting to understand why she is so popular! Do yourself a favor, and get this book!
